“What can I say about doing online training with Drew? I don’t know where to start.
The first thing that stands out is that Drew catered to what I wanted. He started out by asking what my goals were, and when I wanted to change those goals down the line, he was very flexible and good about coming up with training to suit what I wanted at that specific moment in time. I also liked that the workouts had different styles and approaches depending on what the program was geared towards.
Training was serious and structured well, and the app was easy to use. I had to get used to it a little at first, but that was easy and went quickly. I like the idea of the online training thing in general, because I just needed a little help with my programming. Having the videos there when I needed them was great too for getting another perspective on how to do a given exercise. I like how the app saves my progress and past results so I can compare how I performed in the past to how I’m doing in the present.
My initial goals were to gain strength and speed. I wanted to see what my potential was, and I think that happened. My goals were to do it the right way and to work out with a strategy. There was definitely strategy in what Drew was implementing into the workout routine, and when I did what I was supposed to do, I saw my strength go up.
Everyone has different possibilities and potentials. Everyone has a different body composition and bone structure, and what works for one person might not work for another, so it was great that the program was specific to me and my body. It gave me confidence that if I did what Drew told me to, I’d get the results I wanted. Having the program also gave me peace of mind in knowing that I didn’t have to worry about what I had to do in the gym. I just had to go and do it. It was all about execution.
The number one benefit of working with Drew is that I got stronger and learned what I’m capable of doing. Seeing what I was capable of shows me that I can do and accomplish even more in the future. I learned that it’s not always about working harder, but about working smarter. Ultimately, being stronger has benefited my life and I feel safer at work when doing demanding physical tasks.”

“Before I started training with Drew, I knew the basics of working out, but Drew has taken me to a whole new level. I tell Drew that if I wasn’t training with him, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Because I trained with him, I was able to pass the fitness test for the Peel Regional Police, who have some of the strictest fitness standards in the province. Then, a few years later when I was switching forces to the OPP, Drew helped me pass that test, too.
On the job, I’m handling shift work better because of my higher fitness level, and I’m better able to do my job while living a healthier lifestyle overall. I’ve gotten stronger and leaner, and I’m more knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, because Drew tries to make sure I understand why he has me do things.
I did have reservations before starting an online training program. How can I do the workouts without someone there to push me and show me proper form? Drew understood my concerns but counteracted them with detailed videos explaining technique and regular phone calls to see how I felt about each program and to keep me accountable. He also has me record my weights for every rep in the workout app and keeps an eye on my lifts to make sure they’re progressing. Because my family is in Windsor, Drew also makes time to see me in person for sessions when I’m in town and need some extra work, so that really helps if I’m having trouble with certain exercises.
Overall, online training has worked out great. My body composition and job performance are better than ever.
The best part to me is that I get all this for way less money than working with a trainer one-on-one. I generally know how to lift on my own, but I need the programming and accountability of a trainer. If I was meeting a trainer in person, I would maybe get to see them three or four times in person per month for what Drew charges me monthly – and as it is I go to the gym 4 to 6 days a week! That’s totally worth it!”
